  • What are the water hygiene regulations?

Water hygiene regulations are set in place to control the risks of exposure to legionella bacteria in water systems. These include HTM04, SHTM04, and HSG274 (Previously ACOP L8).

Legionella risk assessments should be conducted regularly, at least every two years or when there are significant changes made to the water system.
